ICSNS Policies
The Iranian Cultural Society of Nova Scotia is committed to fostering a respectful, transparent, and inclusive environment that reflects our shared cultural values and community spirit. To support this mission, the Society has established a comprehensive set of policies covering communication, membership, events, finances, data protection, and governance. These policies serve as guiding principles to ensure that all activities and interactions within the Society are conducted with integrity, fairness, and professionalism. By adhering to these standards, we aim to strengthen trust, encourage active participation, and promote the continued growth and unity of our community.
Email Policies
Based on the decision of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Cultural Society of Nova Scotia (ICSNS) in October 2025, the official Society email address, info@icsns.org, shall be used exclusively for activities and events related to the Society.
The purpose of these regulations is to maintain integrity and transparency in the official communications of the Society and to ensure that all email correspondence aligns with the goals and values of the Society.
Accordingly:
1- Announcements, invitations, and news sent via the official Society email are limited to events, programs, and activities directly organized or supported by the Iranian Cultural Society of Nova Scotia.
2- The official Society email will not be used to advertise or promote events, activities, or programs that are outside the scope of the Society’s activities and do not directly relate to the Society's goals and programs.
3- ICSNS members who wish to announce or advertise their personal or public events and activities may use the Society's Telegram group, provided that the published content complies with the rules and regulations of that group.
The Iranian Cultural Society of Nova Scotia, while appreciating the cooperation and support of all members and dear compatriots, hopes that adherence to these communication regulations will create greater order and cohesion in the communications and collective activities of the Iranian community in Nova Scotia.
These regulations were prepared by the ICSNS Task Force group on Communications and Information and approved by the Board of Directors of the Iranian Cultural Society of Nova Scotia in October 2025.
